Black Friday bundle ideas by product type, with the numbers (BFCM 2026)

The right Black Friday bundle depends on what you sell. A coffee roaster and a T-shirt brand should not run the same offer. Here is one bundle per product type, the numbers behind it, and how to keep enough stock to sell it.

All guides · Updated 2026-10-22

Black Friday is on 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday on 30 November. If you want the general list of offer types first, read Black Friday bundle ideas for Shopify. This guide goes product by product and does the maths.

First, the number to beat: a sitewide discount

Every example below uses made-up prices and costs, so you can swap in your own. Take a bag of coffee that sells for $18 and costs you $6.

  • 30% off everything: one bag sells for $12.60. You keep $6.60 per order.
  • Buy 2 save 20%, buy 3 save 30%: two bags sell for $28.80 and you keep $16.80. Three bags sell for $37.80 and you keep $19.80.

The headline is the same ("up to 30% off"), but the deep saving only comes with a bigger order. Shipping, payment fees and ad costs are left out here. They usually make the bigger order look even better, because you pay them once per order, not per item. Check your own numbers with the bundle discount calculator.

Coffee, tea, supplements and other consumables

Offer: stock-up quantity breaks. People who use a product up are happy to buy three at once if the third one is clearly cheaper.

In ZS Bundles, the Black Friday deal template is first in the list. It comes set to buy 2 save 20% and buy 3 save 30%, starting with the product you are looking at. Lower the numbers if your margin is thin. How quantity breaks work.

Gifts and homeware

Offer: a fixed gift box. Black Friday is when many people start Christmas shopping, and a ready-made box answers "what do I buy them".

Example: our demo store sells a candle ($26), a mug ($18) and a tin of truffles ($16) as one gift box at 30% off. That is $60 of products for $42. The box shows as one line in the cart, with the three items listed underneath. It has a countdown to the end of Cyber Monday and stops itself when the date passes. How to build a fixed bundle.

Clothing, socks and basics

Offer: a mix and match box, such as "any 3 tees for $60". Shoppers pick their own colours and sizes, and you still get a three-item order. Stock is kept per item, so a sold-out size cannot be picked. How to build a mix and match box.

Example: tees at $25 each with a cost of $9. One tee: $25 in, $16 kept. Any 3 for $60: $60 in, $33 kept.

Beauty and skincare

Offer: the full routine as a set (cleanser, serum, moisturiser, SPF) at a set price. A set sells the routine, not a single bottle. Name it like a product ("The winter routine"), not like a discount.

If your margin is already tight, give a free mini once the order reaches a threshold instead of a deeper discount. A sample that costs you little can feel generous to the shopper. How to choose the gift and the threshold.

Pet supplies and other heavy items

Offer: spend thresholds. Free shipping at $60, a free toy at $100. Heavy items cost a lot to ship, so free shipping is the reward people want most, and it only pays when the order is big enough to carry it.

In ZS Bundles, a reward can unlock when the shopper picks a tier, or when the order total reaches an amount. The amount counts everything in the cart, before shipping and tax. If the cart drops below it, the reward goes away at checkout. Progressive gifts are on the Scale plan.

Electronics and accessories

Offer: a discounted add-on as a tick box under the main product. "Add the case, 50% off today" next to a phone stand, or a spare cable next to a charger. One tick, and it goes into the cart with the main item. How product page add-ons work. Checkbox upsells are on the Starter plan.

Plan your stock for bundles

A bundle sells more than one unit per order, and that changes your stock maths.

  • Count units, not orders. If you expect 100 orders and half of them take the 3-pack, you need 150 units for those 50 orders alone.
  • Watch the slowest item in a set. A gift box is only as available as its least-stocked item. If the mugs run out, the box cannot be bought, even with plenty of candles left.
  • Keep the gift in stock. A free gift is a real product. Track its stock like any other.
  • Check before you publish. ZS Bundles warns you when a bundle you publish contains an item that is sold out or not active.
  • Put bundles on what you have. Bundle the products you hold the most of, not the ones that are already running low.

A timeline for BFCM 2026

  • By 6 November: pick two or three offers from the list above. Run the numbers for each tier.
  • By 13 November: build them, set Active dates and let them wait under the Scheduled tab. Order the extra stock now, not in Black Friday week.
  • Before 20 November: publish a copy without dates on one product, place a test order on your phone, then delete the copy.
  • 26 November: optional early access. Under Who can see this bundle, choose Customers with certain tags (for example vip).
  • 27 to 30 November: the offers run on their own. End them at the last minute of Cyber Monday. Watch stock, not settings.
  • The week after: compare average order value and revenue per visitor with the weeks before, and keep the offer that worked for December.

Which plan you need

The Free plan includes every bundle type, with one bundle live at a time and up to 20 bundle orders a month. That is enough to test one offer. Running several offers at once needs Starter ($12.99 a month, 500 bundle orders, unlimited live bundles, countdown timer). Scale ($24.99) covers 2,000 bundle orders and Pro ($49.99) more. Paid plans have a 14-day free trial, so you can upgrade in mid-November and see it work before you pay. Our team sets up your first two bundles for free.
