Install ZS Bundles, press Turn on in theme and save.

Create bundle deal → Buy X, get Y. Set how many they buy and how many they get.
Choose the reward
Free, a percentage off or a fixed amount off the extra items.
Publish
Choose the products and publish. The offer shows above Add to cart; Shopify applies it at checkout.
